ABOUT US ... Downunder Landscaping Ltd. is a family business, owned by Brad & Kathy Hadden. Brad earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta. While attending university Brad worked for a landscape construction company as well as in a tree nursery. He then achieved his journeyman ticket in landscaping at Olds College, graduating as top apprentice in 2004/05.
LANDSCAPING DESIGN PROCESS ... Downunder Landscaping Ltd. can take your ideas and provide suggestions to create your ultimate landscape. They have the knowledge to enhance your property with the ideal professional landscape design.
The design process commences with an initial consultation. Client’s ideas, likes and dislikes will be discussed in the preparation of the design. Downunder Landscaping Ltd. will then take the real property report and create the initial computerized digital design. Once the initial design is completed the client then reviews it, and at this point your changes and upgrades are noted. Now materials selection and plantings choices are made so that the final design can be made. Upon completion of the design, the client will receive a colour drawing “to scale” with the plant material labeled. A separate plant list will also be provided. The cost associated for a full landscape design is $750 + GST for the average residence.
If a full design is not required they do a consultation. Consultations can provide ideas for the yard or a quick hand drawn sketch. The cost of a consultation is $100/hour with a one hour minimum charge.
