My name is Shannon Payne and I sell hand painted products that are intended to be practical, blend in with any color scheme, and to be a conversation piece within your home.
I hand paint the items with acrylic and metallic paints along with mica powder to give it brilliant colors; then I treat the items with a high end clear coat resin to protect your product including from UV light. In addition, the resin used on the Lazy Susan's, Coasters, & Charcuterie Boards is "Food Safe" so you can put bread, cheese, fruits, etc. on them; and is also resistant to high temperatures so that coffee rings, for example, will not form in the resin.
The coffee cups are hand painted and then cured so that they are dishwasher (top rack) safe and microwave safe

I started creating various types of art for therapy as I am a full time caregiver for my daughter. This therapy has brought me great joy and given me a measure of relief from some of my stress. I use the beauty that surrounds us (such as flowers, animals, oceans, sky, mountains, landscape, etc.) as inspiration and want to share my creations with others.
I begin by thinking of which colors to use that will also work well together. I then use quality acrylic paints along with various techniques to achieve the finished product. I also allow the paints to properly dry before applying an appropriate sealant such as resin. After I have covered the art with resin, I store the item in a container that shields the end product from dust or other particles to set in the resin. After a few days or weeks (depending on the item and type of resin used) of allowing the resin to properly set, the art is personally inspected before I post or sell the item for your enjoyment.
